Most people expected Sword Art Online: Integral Factor to be a gacha game. Thankfully it is not. The game is all about you and your partner whose default name is Koharu. You can however choose to change the name to whatever you want. You and other characters are trapped inside the virtual game and you can only get out when you beat it. As the main protagonist you are expected to go through the 100 floors of Aincrad with your partner who plays the role of an aide. She will help you in combat by attacking those you target.
Interestingly you do not need to issue commands or control your partner. But one thing you do need to do is to equip your partner with a weapon, skill and armor. There are other side characters in the game that you will occasionally interact with as you proceed. The basic controls of the game are simple. The virtual thumbstick found at the bottom-left corner of the screen is used to move your character, while the buttons in the bottom-right corner are for attacking enemies who always have red crystals over their heads. You can find a mini-map to guide you on your way by tapping on the upper-right corner.
? Simple combat system

Sword Art Online: Integral Factor is a game you will no doubt enjoy playing.
